I graduated on 10th December 2005 from the University of California, San Diego with a B.S in Electrical Engineering. My area of focus is on DSP and Control Systems especially in signal compression/coding. I have also taken some graduate courses including Speech and Audio Compression taught by William Gardner and Filter Banks and Wavelets taught by Truong Nguyen. I am currently working as a volunteer at the Statstical Visual Computing Lab located at Room 5512 in EBU1.

Interests:

I have a variety of interests including:
1) computer vision and statistical learning
2) signal processing in communication systems
3) signal compressions/coding.

My current work in the SVCL involves trying to incorporate my image extraction script with and performing clustering based on my unique dataset. The work involves investigating how using different features can affect the result of the clustering.

(Feb 13)At this point I have a functional data-mining script as well as a clustering program. I am in the process of creating an interface whereby web users can have access to and try it. Please check back here frequently as it gets updated.
